Garrett DeRossett is an independent designer and art director based in Brooklyn, NY. His studio, referred to as S–V for short, is a creative office specializing in visual identities, website and digital experiences, editorial and print design, packaging, strategy, and copywriting. The practice works with organizations of all sizes and shapes, from music groups and record labels to commercial institutions.
S–V is particularly focused on emotive, conceptual work – merging tangible goals with intangible feelings and reactions. We explore, design, and build for good people doing interesting things. We prefer to think of our clients as collaborators.
Additionally, DeRossett acts as a partner at digital technology studio Mono Mono and a freelance art director at Platoon. He was most recently designer at branding studio Bondfire Inc. and previously led design at NYC-based nonprofit charity: water. While the studio is primarily a solo effort, team members are assembled and directed on a by-project basis; allowing for fluid scalability and a diverse creative output.
Studio Victorious is currently taking on new work for Winter 2017 and Spring 2018. A comprehensive portfolio site is planned for late November 2017.
